Material:

• Threaded Elbows: These elbows have internal threads that screw onto the corresponding threaded pipe ends, making them easy to install and remove.
• Socket Weld Elbows: These have a socket that the pipe fits into and is then welded, offering a robust connection for small-diameter pipes.
• Compression Elbows: Often used in smaller diameter pipe systems, compression elbows connect pipes via a compression fitting, providing a reliable seal.

Sizes and Diameters:

• Stainless steel elbows are available in a wide range of sizes to fit various pipe diameters, from small residential applications (e.g., ½ inch or ¾ inch) to large industrial systems (e.g., 12 inches or more).
• Standard size ranges are usually from ½ inch to 48 inches, but custom sizes can be manufactured for specific applications.

Pressure Rating:

• Elbows made from stainless steel are designed to handle various pressure levels, from low to high-pressure systems.
• The pressure rating is often indicated by the schedule of the elbow (e.g., Schedule 40, Schedule 80, Schedule 160), which corresponds to the thickness of the pipe wall and the elbow.

Surface Finish:

• Polished or Smooth Finish: Stainless steel elbows can be polished to a smooth, shiny finish, which is beneficial in applications where aesthetics or hygiene are critical, such as in food and pharmaceutical processing.
• Standard Finish: Can have a rougher surface, which may be suitable for industrial applications where surface finish is less critical.
